TITAN has left Eorzea! ...and he's coming for you America!

This is the place for Chillin', kicking back and relaxing. Talk about Final Fantasy. Don't make the Toppu Neko mad.

Titan is coming!!!

Well, apparently Titan, the Lord of Crags, got tired of all the hardcore gamers in the U.S. beating his sorry butt time and time again in HM and EX mode. So much so that he's abandoned the Navel in favor of a larger place, closer to home...our home that is.

Yes, according to the Weather Channel Titan is expected to pummel the Western US including California tonight, and then spread a swath of destruction across the lower 48 throughout the weekend and even in to Monday. His reign of terror should end by Tuesday, but it will take a while to clean up after the destruction that will no doubt be wrought by the Lord of Crags.

In any case, batten down the hatches my friends, beware the Lord of Crags for he is on the March...

Here is the link from the Weather Channel, I only hope this news provides us time to prepare for battle!

Titan threatens the US

Well, now that we know Titan can find his way to our world, I can only shudder at the thought of how Garuda will react during Tornado season....
Image

Or during Hurricane season, Leviathan could well wipe out a large portion of the east coast with a well placed storm surge...
Image

I only hope that our friends at the Weather channel can keep us informed of the whereabouts of these Primals. Fortunately we all know where Ifrit is...

I can't stomach the weather channel, haven't for years. This may have something to do with working for the national weather service though

Probably so. Not a lot of people know this, but my first career goal was to work for the Meteorological office in the UK - their version of the NWS. Always been interested in weather, but circumstances pushed me in other directions.

Well, if I didn't know better, I'd say that Titan's weight of the land attack was lightning based, since we have thunderstorms dropping ice and freezing rain. significant icing is forecast, so we are not sure we will have power in the morning. if you don't see us tonight or tomorrow, that will be the reason. fornow we're. sticking to wifi devices just in case liightning hits close enough to fry things....

There is at least one other member in TN, seems that the volunteer state is well represented..

Yikes. Hina, Cat and I live on a a bit of a rise, just on the downward slope, so rain flows away from us and we're high enough that short of an apocalyptic flood, we're OK.

There's been plenty of times that I've watched 6-10" of rain fall here, then 2 hrs after it stops it doesn't look like it rained at all. 1 mile down the road, the road will be flooded out but within my hood the ground absorbs well, and whatever doesn't absorb runs off well to the stream nearby, which is about 25-30 feet vertically lower, and again about a mile away.
