I hate to chime in and sound like I am hating on "legacy" players, but based on some of the things I am reading on the Tester forums, I don't want to be within 1000 miles of a legacy server. No offense to anyone who might by chance have a 1.0 account, but there is a topic on the forums where legacy players are basically whining about not being special and not having special sequences and dialog in quests, and not being remembered by the people of Eorzea. the attitude was basically "WE are the Warriors of Light, we are special, look at us."
From what I understand players from 1.0 come over with their treasury, companion/minions and armory intact. So I can only assume that after blasting through the levels faster than most new players can they will be able to afford any amount of housing and high end gear that the rest of us will have to scrimp and scrape to afford. Those inherent advantages, elitism, arrogance and entitlement attitude utterly tuirn me off the idea of being anywhere near a population of v1.0 players.
The last thing I need is to be playing with people who not only call us noobs, but constantly rub in our faces their "legacy" status, and flaunt their wealth.
Having read this topic I think it is clear that the general opinion of the Nekos is to stay away from the Legacy servers. In which case we will need to make a final choice of non-legacy server before the next phase of beta begins. Agreed?
